Buffalo Trail Public Schools covers an area of approximately 8,800 square kilometers in East Central Alberta and provides educational services to 4800 students in ECS to Grade 12. We have 30 schools: seven located on Hutterite colonies, 4 elementary schools, 3 junior- senior-high schools, 3 elementary-junior high schools, 2 outreach schools and an online school. Our central office is located in Wainwright, Alberta.
Buffalo Trail Public Schools employs approximately 300 teachers and 150 support staff. The division provides an excellent professional development program for staff. Our goal is to offer staff a multitude of opportunities - from mentorship to leadership training.
