The Holy Spirit Catholic Separate Region School Division No. 4 is comprised of schools in the communities of Pincher Creek, Lethbridge, Picture Butte, Coaldale and Taber, in southern Alberta. The Board Office is located in Lethbridge. The Division provides educational programs and services in fourteen schools to approximately 4200 students from grades 1 through 12 and to approximately 300 students in ECS. Presently, the Division employs close to 400 people in a wide variety of full and part-time positions and in various capacities.
The curriculum followed by the Division is provincially prescribed by Alberta Learning with supplements approved by the Board of Trustees. The Board endeavours to provide a system of education which will meet the educational needs of young people. The knowledge which students gain of their culture, the world, of life and humanity will be based on the Gospel values of Jesus Christ.
