Located in the heart of Vancouver, Fraser Academy is a highly effective academic school community enrolling students from grades 1 to 12. Fraser Academy faculty members use differentiated instruction using a multi-sensory approach to educate students who have dyslexia or other related language processing difficulties. Our students receive individual support offered by certified Orton Gillingham tutors who provide professional language training during daily sessions. With a maximum of ten students per class, and through the use of adapted programs, the school follows B.C. Ministry of Education curricula leading toward the Provinceĺs secondary school Dogwood graduation certificate in preparation for post-secondary studies. Fraser Academy addresses the learning needs of each student, emphasizing language development, and the constant promotion of self-esteem and self-advocacy.
