Cross Lake Education Authority, is the local body responsible for administering the locally controlled education system in Cross Lake.
CLEA is responsible for operating three schools, Otter Nelson River School, Mikisew Middle School, and the Cross Lake Regional Centre, and for coordinating sponsorship of Cross Lake members in post-secondary programs.
All told, CLEA is responsible for educating close to 1800 students in the community of Cross Lake.
