Aldershot Elementary is located on the outskirts of the town of Kentville, the home of the reknown Apple Blossom Festival. We are a Primary to Grade Five School with a total of 265 students and 12 classrooms.
Our school serves the communities of north Kentville, Aldershot, Steam Mill, Centreville, Lakewood Road and surrounding areas. A detailed map of our catchment area can be located on the AVRSB website - follow the links to our school. Once students complete Grade 5 at Aldershot Elementary they move on to middle school at Northeast Kings Education Centre in Canning.
As much as possible our school facilities are made available for after hours community use. Several youth and adult recreation groups use our gym year-round; youth organizations use our school for their meetings; and our grounds are used for recreation on a daily basis by families in our area.
Aldershot Elementary School enjoys partnerships with several community organizations and businesses which helps to maintain and enrich the learning opportunities for our students.
