Founded in November 2011, the Collège nordique francophone is a community-based teaching institution that greatly contributes to maintaining the vitality of the Northwest Territories francophonie experience. Headquartered in Yellowknife, we are a non-profit organization, partly funded by the Department of Education, Culture and Employment.
We offer a wide range of courses and workshops to meet the needs of francophones, francophiles and the organizations that serve them. Through us, residents of the NWT can pursue post-secondary or professional education in French, improve their language abilities, or just enjoy learning in a francophone environment. Our services include: language training for federal and territorial government departments, and evening courses for the public; post-secondary education programs in French; professional development; and community workshops
