Beaufort Delta Education Council Info

The Beaufort Delta Education Council is located in Inuvik, the government centre and transportation hub for the Western Arctic. Since 1979, Inuvik has been the end of the Dempster Highway, thus connecting the Arctic with southern communities. Inuvik is also the main headquarters for the oil and gas industry operating in the Beaufort Sea/Mackenzie Delta. The Board's mission is to form a partnership with parents, students, and educational staff in order to provide quality education for our children and to promote the general educational development of our communities.
