The Adult Academic & Career Training Inc. (AAT) School, founded in 2003, was created to meet the needs of high school students who are falling through the cracks. According to Terri Smith, Principal AAT School, "Our students don't fit into the academic mould for one reason or another. But to discard them would be unfair. We have to get creative and understand who they are, because academic successes feed on themselves and ignite a life long love of learning.
