On behalf of the remote fly-in First Nations of Bearskin Lake, Cat Lake, Sachigo Lake and Slate Falls, Windigo Education Authority provides second level services and co-ordinates the hiring of teaching staff for their schools.
Preference will be given to applicants with qualifications and/ or experience in English As a Second Language, Special Education and Native Studies. Teaching experience in a northern First Nations setting a definite asset.
Candidates must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or eligible for membership.
Applications must include: Cover letter, Resume, (3) References (including most recent employer), most recent Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check, and a copy of OCT Certificate.
