The Foundation for Promotion of Secondary Education on St. Eustatius is seeking interested candidates to fill the position of

 - Early Childhood Teacher

The Gwendoline van Putten school is located on St. Eustatius, an island located in the Dutch Caribbean. The school has a multi-cultural population of about 280 students. The school is in a transition phase where it’s moving from a Dutch educational system to a Caribbean system with English as the language of instruction. To ensure quality education the school is looking for teachers with a keen interest in teaching youngsters between the ages of 12 to 18, with different Academic levels.

Our mission is to provide education that is challenging, inspiring and tailor made for each student.

We are therefore seeking for enthusiastic candidates who are child centered, hardworking, goal oriented, flexible, creative, and energetic, with a professional work attitude.

As a teacher you need to be in possession of a valid teaching qualification also recognized by the Dutch ministry of education. Being familiar with the CXC program; CCSLC, CVQ , CSEC and CAPE is an advantage.
