CANADIAN HEAD PRINCIPAL REQUIRED FOR CANADIAN CURRICULUM SCHOOL IN 6th OF OCTOBER CITY, EGYPT

FOR THE 2019-20 SCHOOL YEAR

Heritage International School is seeking an experienced certified Canadian principal for the position of Head Principal with a start date of August, 2019.

Heritage International School is a well-established, private Manitoba affiliated K-12 school, located on a modern campus in beautiful 6th of October City, near Cairo, Egypt. 

This prestigious school uses the Manitoba curriculum for all grades. 6th of October City has a population of over 500,000 and is about an hour from downtown Cairo. The school has a teaching staff of 40 Canadian teachers and 2 vice principals. The school opened in 2006 with 55 students and now has over 500 students including 200 in the high school (9-12). Heritage International School seeks to thoroughly prepare a new generation of Egyptians for the challenges of a university career as well as life beyond the classroom.

The Head Principal will assume the role of instructional leader. The successful candidate will be dynamic, energetic, and personable with excellent communication skills, and an excellent team player with outstanding educational leadership skills.

Applicants must be Canadian citizens, have a minimum of a Bachelor of Education from a Canadian university (a Master’s degree in Education is preferable) and hold a valid teaching certificate from a Canadian province. Experience as a principal is essential.
